General
What does MachineLabs do?
MachineLabs is a data and machine learning lab. We collect data from websites, APIs and business systems, engineer it into clean, ML-ready datasets, and build and deploy machine learning models on top of it. You can work with us through a monthly subscription, buy ready-made datasets, or commission a custom project.
Do you work with customers outside India?
Yes. Most of our datasets cover multiple countries, and we work with teams across more than twenty countries in English, over email and video calls. Our engineering team is based in New Delhi, and we schedule calls to overlap with your working hours. You can pay in USD through PayPal or an international card, or in INR through Razorpay.
Do I need a technical team to work with you?
No. We can deliver ready-to-use files, dashboards or APIs, and we help your team integrate them. If you do have engineers, we work directly with them and hand over code and documentation.
How long does a typical project take?
A new data pipeline is usually live within one to two weeks. A first production-ready machine learning model typically takes three to six weeks, depending on data availability and the complexity of the problem. You receive a working deliverable at every stage.
Which technologies do you use?
Mostly Python, with PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost and Hugging Face for modelling; Spark, dbt and Airflow for data engineering; and Docker and Kubernetes for deployment. We can deploy into your own AWS, Google Cloud or Azure account, in the region you require.
Plans & billing
How are subscription plans billed, and in which currency?
Plans are billed monthly. Customers outside India pay in US Dollars through PayPal or an international card; customers in India can pay in Indian Rupees through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Use the currency switch in the header to see prices in either currency.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Yes. You can cancel anytime from your account or by contacting us — your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy. To upgrade or downgrade, just contact us and we will switch your plan from the next cycle.
What counts as a “record”?
A record is one structured row delivered to you after cleaning and de-duplication — for example one product, one property listing or one job posting. Failed, blocked or duplicate requests are not counted towards your monthly volume.
Do you offer custom plans for higher volumes?
Yes. If you need more records, more models, dedicated infrastructure, data residency in a specific region or a particular SLA, contact us and we will put together a custom plan.
Will I receive a receipt or invoice?
Yes. Every successful payment generates a receipt that is emailed to you and is always available in your customer account. You can add your company tax ID — VAT, GST, GSTIN or EIN — at checkout and it will appear on the receipt.
Datasets
How are datasets delivered?
After payment you receive an order confirmation immediately. The dataset is delivered within 24 hours as a secure download link by email and in your customer account, in the formats listed on the dataset page.
Can I see a sample before buying?
Every dataset page shows the full schema and sample rows. If you need a larger sample to evaluate fit, send us a request and we will share an extended sample under NDA if needed.
Can you build a custom dataset or extend the coverage?
Absolutely — most of our work is custom. Tell us the sources, fields, countries and refresh frequency you need and we will send a quote, usually within one business day.
How am I allowed to use purchased data?
Data is licensed for your internal business use. Reselling or redistributing it requires our prior written consent. See the Terms and Conditions for details.
Security & compliance
How do you handle privacy and compliance?
We only collect publicly available data or data you are authorised to share with us. Our pipelines respect robots directives and rate limits, and we do not collect personal data without a lawful basis under applicable laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, CCPA and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Is my data safe with you?
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to the engineers working on your project, and we are happy to sign an NDA or a data processing agreement. When an engagement ends we delete your data on request. Read our Privacy Policy for more.
