Refund & Cancellation

Refund Timeline: Once approved, refunds are initiated within 2 business days and credited to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.

1. Overview

At MachineLabs, we are committed to delivering high-quality web scraping services and ensuring customer satisfaction. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for our subscription plans (Basic, Professional, and Advanced) and dataset purchases.

2. Subscription Plan Cancellations

2.1 Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us via machinelabs.in/contact or through your account settings. The following conditions apply:

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the initial subscription purchase are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made after 24 hours but within 7 days of the billing date — where services have not been substantially used — are eligible for a pro-rated refund.
  • Cancellations made after 7 days of the billing date are not eligible for a refund for that cycle. Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
  • No refund will be issued if the service has been fully rendered (e.g., data delivered, scraping completed for the cycle).

2.2 Cancellation by MachineLabs

MachineLabs reserves the right to cancel a subscription if a user violates our Terms and Conditions. In such cases, no refund will be provided. If we cancel a subscription for reasons beyond your control, a full pro-rated refund will be issued.

3. Refund Eligibility — Subscription Plans

Refunds will be considered in the following scenarios:

  • Service downtime or outage exceeding 24 consecutive hours attributable to MachineLabs
  • Persistent data quality issues reported and unresolved within 5 business days
  • Failure to deliver scraped data within agreed timelines for 3 or more scheduled updates in a billing cycle
  • Duplicate payment due to a technical error on our platform

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Dissatisfaction arising from the customer’s own change in business requirements after delivery
  • Issues caused by third-party website changes, anti-scraping measures, or legal restrictions on target websites
  • Failure to use the service during the subscription period

4. Refund Eligibility — Dataset Purchases

Ready-to-use datasets purchased as one-time products are eligible for a refund only if:

  • The dataset is materially different from the description on our website
  • The data file is corrupt or undelivered within 24 hours of purchase
  • A duplicate payment was charged

Refund requests for dataset purchases must be raised within 48 hours of purchase.

5. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please:

  • Contact us through machinelabs.in/contact
  • Provide your registered email address and order/subscription details
  • Describe the issue clearly with supporting information (e.g., screenshots, dates, data samples)

All refund requests are reviewed within 3 business days. You will receive confirmation of acceptance or rejection via email.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund request has been approved by MachineLabs:

Approval: Your refund request is reviewed and approved within 3 business days of submission.

Initiation: The refund is initiated from our end within 2 business days of approval.

Credit: The amount is credited to your original payment method (credit/debit card or UPI-linked bank account) within 5–7 working days from the date of initiation.

Confirmation: You will receive an email notification once the refund has been processed from our end.

The exact credit time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. MachineLabs is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or financial institution.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Subscription fees for past billing cycles beyond the current active cycle
  • Setup charges or one-time customization fees (if applicable)
  • Purchases made in violation of our Terms and Conditions

8. Currency and Mode of Refund

All refunds will be processed in Indian Rupees (INR) and credited to the same payment method used at the time of purchase. MachineLabs does not issue refunds in cash or via alternative payment methods.
